DSG nominated as a finalist in prestigious Engage Awards 2019 – Best Outsourced Partnership Category

 

03 October 2019; DSG has been selected as a finalist in the Best Outsourced Partnership category for the upcoming Engage Awards 2019, awards that celebrate International Customer and Employee Engagement Excellence. This recognition comes off the back of DSG’s successful partnership with Nando’s and the Maharishi Institute, that delivers an integrated customer experience whilst remaining focused on driving sustainability of the Maharishi Institute, South Africa’s first virtually free university.

The Engage Awards, organised by Engage Business Media, encompass all areas of excellence within Customer and Employee Engagement, with the finalists spanning 18 awards categories and over 100 entries. The Engage Awards showcases excellence within the Customer and Employee Engagement market.

The integrated Contact Centre launched in March 2018, today consists of a vibrant and young workforce blended with students and experienced Contact Centre individuals, that are trained to deliver and remain aligned to key efficiency, effectiveness and quality outcomes. Moreover – through the Maharishi Institute – DSG is able to leverage a continent first student “learn and earn” Contact Centre, driving sustainability on behalf of the Maharishi Institute, which since 2008 has educated over 18,000 Students with a remarkable 97% economic placement rate.

The Contact Centre has achieved an order conversion ratio of 75%, with an average of 160,000 orders placed per month. We have trained over 150 students who have gained practical experience and are now employed within a number of other sectors.

This year’s winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel, United Kingdom, on Monday 11th November, attended by hundreds of customer and employee engagement professionals from across the globe and hosted by Hugh Dennis.
